Local Moving

When moving within a 40-mile radius of your current location, it’s considered a local move. The cost is determined by the labor and time involved in moving you from your current home to your new one. Additional charges will apply for any add-on services you may need, such as packing, crating, rigging, storage, and home organization.

Long-Distance Moving

If you’re moving over 40 miles or to another state, your move is considered a long-distance move. The charges are based on the weight of your goods plus any additional services you require. The weight is determined at an official weigh station after your goods are loaded.

Jensen does not outsource or hire temporary crews. 

Jensen offers our long-distance moving customers:

• Exclusive Use of Vehicle: We’ll reserve the vehicle and crew solely for your use. You’ll be given guaranteed dates for loading and delivery.

• Expedited Service: This service provides you with guaranteed dates for both loading and delivery. Dates are subject to your schedule as well as the schedules of customers sharing the truck with you.

Valuation

Jensen carries standard liability as required by federal and state commissions. This coverage is based on weight per article. Additional coverage may be obtained through your own insurance provider. Jensen offers Full Replacement Valuation through our insurer at a minimal cost. In the event of damage, Jensen has a claims policy in place to address your concerns.
