Local Moving
When you make a move within a 40-mile radius, of your current location, it is considered a local move. The cost for local moving is determined by the amount of labor and time involved in moving you from your current home to your new one. Additional charges will apply for extra services such as packing, crating, rigging or storage.

On moving day, your crew will report and begin your move by first enveloping your possessions in quilted moving pads. They will then stretch wrap the items for added protection.

Your goods will then be loaded on the truck. At delivery, we will unload all of your goods, place them in your desired location and reassemble any items that we took apart. Our goal is to provide you with an efficient and stress free move.

Long Distance Moving
If you are moving over 40 miles or to another state, your move is considered a long distance move. The charges for long distance moves are based on the weight of your goods plus any additional services you require. The weight is determined at an Official Weight Station after your goods are loaded. You will find minimum weight requirements based on the type of service that you request.

We are one of few moving companies that specialize in services such as Exclusive Use of Vehicle and Expedited Service. In addition, unlike other companies, we only use our own movers. The same movers that load your belongings will unload at your new home. We do not pick up movers along the way or at the destination.

EXCLUSIVE USE OF VEHICLE
When using this service, we reserve the vehicle and crew solely for your use. You are provided a guaranteed date for loading and a guaranteed date for delivery. This service can be provided for moves to any state within the USA.

EXPEDITED SERVICE
This service provides you with guaranteed dates for both loading and delivery. These dates are subject to your schedule as well as the schedule of the customers’ sharing the truck with you.

Executive Moving Service
This is our all inclusive service package for those who need the physical work of moving removed or for those who do not have the time for this type of disruption to their daily activities. A Moving Coordinator will be assigned to your move to organize and oversee the entire move. This service is ideal for those who need to scale down from a large home to a smaller home or apartment because we have several options available to sell, deliver, or dispose of those things you no longer need. The Moving Coordinator will work with you on deciding where each piece will go. An estimate can be provided to discuss how this service can meet your needs. The Moving Coordinator charges an additional fee.

CRATING
Certain delicate items may require crating to ensure their safe keeping throughout your move. Our in-house carpenter can build any size crate to suit your specific needs. Please call our office for details.

SMALL SHIPMENT HANDLING
We will package, load and ship items throughout the USA. The fees for this service are based on the size, weight and delivery location. Pick up for these items can be done before or during your local or long distance move.

PIANOS & ANTIQUES
Jensen has been successfully relocating antiques and items of value for many years. Please keep in mind that these items require special preparation. We will prepare, pack, specially wrap and crate the item in order to ensure that it reaches its destination free of damage.

ESTIMATE & AUCTION DELIVERIES
We provide complete services for those customers requiring pick up and distribution of items that are part of an estate or need to be auctioned. We will inventory, load, and deliver items to your specifications. We also offer donation and disposal services.

TRANSIT INSURANCE
All legitimate moving companies are required to carry the standard liability set forth by the federal and state commissions. This coverage is based on weight per article. Additional coverage may be obtained through your own insurance agent.

JENSEN offers Full Replacement Insurance through our insurer at a minimal cost and with no deductible.

VALUATION
All licensed moving companies are required to carry the standard liability set forth by federal and state commissions. Additionally we provide Full Replacement Valuation. JENSEN crews are also bonded. Please contact our office or ask your estimator and we will be glad to provide our valuation information in writing.

When providing you with moving services, we will take every precaution and exercise care in moving your possessions. However, in the event damage occurs, please be advised that JENSEN MOVERS has a claims policy in place to address any of your concerns.

FREE ESTIMATE PROVIDED
Following your decision to move, you should call us to make an appointment for an estimator to visit your home. An estimate is important because it gives you and our company the opportunity to meet, and to determine what must be done, in order to ensure that your move is made in an organized and efficient manner.

The purpose of an estimate is to provide you with an approximation of costs involved for your move. Most importantly, by getting an estimate you are able to have all of your concerns addressed, so that you can be confident that you are dealing with a company that cares about your move and your possessions.
