In The Beginning
Charlie Jensen established Jensen Movers & Storage Inc. in the city of Philadelphia during the early 1900s. Mr. Jensen started his moving business with one wagon and the motto "keep moving." Even then, Jensen Movers was recognized for delivering quality services and personalized attention.

The Land of Opportunity
Fast forward to 1963. Jensen Movers is prospering, delivering household moving services to a growing customer base. Meanwhile, Jensen Movers´ future owner has recently come to the United States, having fled his country to escape political and social unrest. Arriving in Pennsylvania with a young family to support and no financial means, this man begins to rebuild. He takes any job, working day and night to feed and shelter his family. Before long he discovers the household moving business. With just one truck, one helper and lots of determination, he offers his moving services to Main Line families, working long into the night until every job is done and his customers are fully satisfied.

In 1967, he purchases Jensen Movers and focuses his energies on expanding the company's fleet, facilities, and operations. Jensen Movers begins to deliver comprehensive local and long distance moving services, offering packing, crating, and storage capabilities. As the years pass, this man's children join the company, ensuring that Jensen Movers remains a family-owned company, dedicated to delivering quality and personal attention for years to come.


Welcoming the Third Generation
Although our grandfather has retired from our day-to-day operations, the "Jensen" family continues the moving tradition. In fact, we are now training our third generation of household and commercial movers. Our techniques have improved with time, and our commitment to provide customers with efficient, stress-free moving services is stronger than ever. The Jensen family takes great pride in our ability to customize our services to better meet the individual needs of our clients. In addition, it is that commitment to quality that helps us not only retain customers, but attract new customers as well.
